Step....

It's a bright sunny day in desert, time is of holy month
I get to know importance of faith in religion
From a window of my flat,
I can see people who have faith on God,
still they are running to do one more fraud
it's contradiction of human character.
we want to get more to be satisfied
we cheat others and still want to be purified
we get cheated and want others to be crucified

Every religion tells human about humanity
Every religion speaks of purification by fasting
still we try to get extra luxury
and don't care about broken bonds which could have been everlasting.

I want to take one step towards truth
the step taken by Ashoka into the battlefield of Kalingaa
I am not so strong & stone-willed
I feel weak and disheartened because I can't change the world
But I take a pledge that I'll move myself towards the right path
May be I won't become a shining star or a legend
but I'll be forgotten as a good man.
